ROBERT WOOD JONES is currently a Managing Director and Vice Chairman of Investment Banking at Morgan Stanley. He joined the firm in 1974 and specialized in the power and utility industry for many years before being named Vice Chairman in 1997. As Vice Chairman, he has served as worldwide head of the firm's Corporate Finance Department and currently acts as a senior banker to a broad range of its corporate clients.

In addition to serving on the Board of the Foundation for The Jones Institute, Mr. Jones acts as a Trustee for Rippowam-Cisqua School, The Robert Toigo Foundation and Diversity for Peace Foundation.

During his career, Mr. Jones has participated in many major international and domestic utility and project financing transactions, with particular focus on strategic advisory and capital raising assignments. He also has testified before numerous state public utility commissions and has been a frequent public speaker on regulatory and corporate governance issues.

Mr. Jones graduated from the Lawrenceville School and received his B.A. degree in 1972 from Colgate University, where he was a member of its Board of Trustees for many years and is now Trustee Emeritus. He received an M.B.A. in 1974 from the Harvard Business School.

He is married to the former Debra Neuschel and has two daughters, Samantha and Peyton. Mr. Jones and his family reside in Bedford, New York.
