Robert J. Kheel is a partner in the Litigation Department of Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP in New York. Mr. Kheel specializes in complex commercial litigation with an emphasis on labor and sports law. He represents clients on matters including employment discrimination and raiding cases, NLRB proceedings, arbitration and accountant’s liability litigation, and Major League Baseball related transactions and issues.

Mr. Kheel is a member of the New York State, District of Columbia, and American Bar Associations and the Association of the City of New York. He is a Trustee of Howard and Georgeanna Jones Institute for Reproductive Medicine.

Mr. Kheel has authored New York Amended Attachment Statute “A Prejudgment Remedy in Need of Further Revision,” Brooklyn Law Review, Winter 1978, and has co-authored “The Port Authority 1962 Covenants A Bar to Mass Transportation,” Rutgers Law Review, Fall 1973.
Mr. Kheel has been a Lecturer at Law at Columbia Law School on the Law of Sports since 1991.
